Rundquist architects have worked with the design and construction documents for the Kallhäll station. The work includes the connection to the bus terminal, a bridge over the tracks, as well as the platform environment and is part of a 4-track railway expansion between Barkarby and Kallhäll.
The station building is in wood both inside and outside. The material conveys a warm and welcoming tone and gives the open room a feeling of intimacy despite its size. The station will be inaugurated in August 2016.
